Zelensky honoured as 'person of year"

VOLODYMYR Zelensky was named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year yesterday, after he was filmed visiting wounded soldiers in eastern Ukraine.

Edward Felsenthal, the US news magazine’s editor-in-chief, said the decision to give the prestige title to the President and to “the spirit of the Ukrainian people” was “the most clear-cut in memory”. 

He continued: “In a world that had come to be defined by its divisiveness there was a coming together around this cause, around this country.”
