OUR 40s are the best years for looking after number one, with 45 the age most people feel healthiest in mind and body, according to a poll.
It suggests that 45-year-olds such as stars Tom Hardy, Ashton Kutcher, Liv Tyler and Sarah Michelle Gellar are at their peak.
The survey of 2,000 over-40s found 80% started drinking less alcohol when they hit the big 4-0, and 74% began to eat more healthily.
It found 32% of over-40s thought they were at their peak fitness because their partying days were behind them.
