Wedding no3, retiring again and why boxer Tyson will struggle to be a house husband....

Tyson and Paris Fury are sitting side by side on a velvet banquette in a fancy restaurant in Cannes when the boxer springs the latest in a very, very long line of surprises on his wife of 15 years.

A cheesecake arrives with a little firework that rains sparks over the table.

As Paris notices a proposal written in chocolate sauce on the plate, Tyson produces a diamond the size of a cough sweet, and asks: "Will you marry me for the third time?" 

After she says "Yes!", her husband promises Paris "a Christmas winter wonderland wedding".

The scene is captured in a new, nine-part, fly-on-the wall series At Home With The Furys, which lands on Netflix on August 16.

It follows the family as WBC Heavyweight Champion of the World Tyson retires from boxing again to concentrate on family life with Paris, their six kids and the dog at their mansion in Morecambe, told me mo things. After beating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 to hold his heavyweight titles, the 6ft 9in Gypsy King crashed and burned.

There was alcohol and drug abuse. He binged his way to 30 stone and had suicidal thoughts, almost driving his Ferrari into a bridge.

But he turned his life around to claim the heavyweight crown again in 2022. Now he is trying retirement again, followed by a documentary team. Was it wise?
