MICHAEL Sunderland BEALE told fans less-thanthrilled by his appointment, he will give them reasons to "dream of the utopia".
The former Rangers chief is eyeing promotion to the Premier League after succeeding Tony Mowbray in the Stadium of Light hotseat.
Beale's CV was labelled "incredible" by sporting director Kristjaan Speakman (circled above) and warned there would be "no complacency" in searching for promotion.
The 43-year-old boss was sacked by the Scottish giants in October, but said: "If you are going to work in football, work where it matters, where there is potential and expectation. I have arrived at a gigantic club.
"It took 20-plus years to get here. I did the hard yards at Chelsea and Liverpool, and going to Brazil.
"I've worked with young players, who have gone on to be the finest in this country, and I have seen what elite looks like.
