SPELLBOUND Stephen Bunting sprang from his last trance saloon to end Peter Wright's defiance of Father Time.
In a surprisingly routine demolition of two-time champion Wright, the 'Bullet' stormed into the Paddy Power PDC World Championship semi-finals with his eyes wide shut.
Bunting's 5-2 triumph garnished with three century-plus checkouts, could have damaging consequences for Wright's hopes of retaining his Premier League place.
But for the No.8 seed from St Helens, it's been happy daze on the oche since he started working with hypnotherapist Chris O'Connor.
Hyp, hyp, hooray! Bunting has dropped only four sets in the whole tournament and, for most of this plain sailing, he looked like a potential champion.
Hyp, hyp, hooray! He is on course to become only the fifth man after Phil Taylor, Dennis Priestley, John Part and Raymond van Barneveld - to win both Lakeside and PDC versions of the world title.
