A TENNIS ball has been stuck in a cathedral archway for 110 years after what must have been a hurl of a throw.
Gilbert Bell lost the ball after he tossed it too high while playing with his brother in 1914.
The ball has remained firmly wedged ever since, and staff have no plans to take it down - even during renovation work.
