JACK CATTERALL is eyeing up a shot at IBF champion Liam Paro next year after his "risk" against Regis Prograis paid off.
The Chorley light-welterweight picked himself up off the canvas to floor former world champion Prograis twice on the way to a unanimous points decision.
Catterall, 31, is now hoping his team can deliver Paro if the Australian defends his title against Richardson Hitchins on December 7.
"We knew fighting Regis was going to be a risk but that risk put me in a great position," said Catterall.
"Hopefully we get a shot at the IBF early next year. There are four other world champions and I'm open to fighting any of them.
"We've got work to do yet. We don't take anything for granted.
Liam Paro is a great champion.
