BEVERLY Hills, 90210 star Shannen Doherty has died aged 53 after a long battle with cancer, her publicist said yesterday.
The actress played Brenda Walsh with Jason Priestley as twin brother Brandon in the hit 1990s teenage series.
She also appeared in cult hit show Charmed as one of a trio of sisters who are good witches.
Priestley, 54, paid tribute to her, saying: "She was a force of nature and I will miss her.
"Sending love and light to her family in this dark time." Doherty was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and began acting as a child in TV series such as Our House.
