The paranoid schizophrenic stalked the streets of Nottingham in the early hours of June 13 last year looking for victims.
Black-clad Calocane targeted Grace O'Malley-Kumar and Barnaby Webber as they walked home from a night out. He then stopped Ian Coates as he drove to work and stabbed him to death.
Finally, Calocane mowed down three commuters.
In CCTV footage of the fateful night, released by Nottinghamshire Police, Calocane is first seen at the city's railway station shortly before midnight after getting a train from London.
Chilling footage shows him at 12.06am standing next to young revellers on a tram, heading to the Radford area of the city.
The black-clad knifeman is then captured on various CCTV cameras as he prowls the streets for hours.
During this time, he repeatedly turns his phone on and off, switches SIM cards and changes his trainers for combat boots.
At 3.49am, Calocane's first unsuspecting victims, Barnaby and Grace, are captured on camera walking down Ilkeston Road, in the city's student district.
