MANCHESTER UNITED could be forced to hand Bruno Fernandes a bumper new deal to keep him at Old Trafford.
Fernandes admits he will walk out on United this summer if the club no longer want him.
United are expected to overhaul their squad ahead of next season following a woeful campaign.
And Fernandes, who has been linked with moves to Bayern Munich and Saudi's Pro League, insists he needs to feel loved if he is to stay at Old Trafford.
Manager Erik ten Hag claims United are desperate not to lose the Portugal international.
But Ten Hag could be sacked at the end of the season, casting further doubt on Fernandes long-term future.
The 29-year-old is under contract at United until 2026 on a deal worth £230,000 a week, but he has seen the likes of Raphael Varane, Casemiro and Rashford Marcus handed more lucrative contracts.
