ENGLAND goalie Aaron Ramsdale has made it a mission to fight homophobia in the dressing room after revealing his brother is gay.
Aaron, 25, said he had previously bit his tongue and said nothing when he encountered anti-gay prejudice in top flight football.
Writing for the Players' Tribune he praised his "superstar" younger sibling Oliver for living in "an open and authentic way.
He also revealed his family had suffered abuse after his £24million transfer to Arsenal from Sheffield United in 2021. He wrote: "Whenever people tell me it's brave what I've done, pursuing this football dream, I just laugh. Oliver is the real superstar of the family. He's the brave one.
