RISHI Sunak was branded a "squatter" Prime Minister as he ruled out a spring election.
The PM said yesterday his working assumption is to hold a vote in the second half of 2024.
The election must be held by January 2025. The Mirror revealed this week two-thirds of Brits want to have their say before summer.
But Mr Sunak said yesterday: "My working assumption is we'll have a general election in the second half of this year.
