TEAM GB shooter Amber Rutter was cheered up with a cuddle from her baby after a judging error robbed her of a gold medal.
The new mum had to settle for silver after her final shot in a dramatic skeet showdown with Chile's Francisca Chadid was called a miss.
TV replays showed it clipped the clay and should have been called a hit.
With no VAR she was named runner up, before hubby James surprised her with their baby Tommy, who she gave birth to three months ago.
It capped another remarkable day for Team GB, with two silver and two bronze wins before the track finals.
Amber, who missed the Tokyo Games due to Covid, lives with husband James in Windsor, Berks.
He said he "hopped on a plane" with Tommy to surprise her. He said: "They managed to sneak us in for that moment. Literally then. I knew she'd love to turn around and see him."
Amber, 26, timed the arrival of their baby just in time for the Olympic competition, and stopped training when she "could feel the baby kicking".
Tommy Fleetwood, 33, also had to settle for silver in the men's golf after falling agonisingly short of American world No 1 Scottie Scheffler.
Gymnast Harry Hepworth, 20, took bronze in the vault in his first Games.
