Dentists THEMSELVES warn crisis is so severe it's now..

DENTISTS warn that the Tories' refusal to reform NHS dentistry is damaging people's health.

Surveys of some 3,500 dental workers reveal two-thirds of dentists now plan to do more private work instead.

They report patients using pliers to extract teeth, and even using superglue on broken crowns.

The Mirror is campaigning for a return to access to an NHS dentist for all. More than 100,000 people have signed our online petition.

The 2024 Dentistry Census of 3,000 dentists, dental nurses and oral hygienists found 90% believe failure to change the flawed NHS payment contract is harming the nation's health.
