THE widow of a police hero who died in a flood has said the moment she was told still haunts her, on the 15th anniversary of his death.
PC William "Bill" Barker was swept away after a bridge he was on collapsed as he tried to save people from the water.
Wife Hazel was "full of mixed emotions" marking the anniversary on Wednesday.
