A WITNESS to the campsite crash that injured nine people has told how she saw the car on top of a flattened tent with people underneath and was "certain people were dead".
Ellie Owen, 21, revealed how quick-thinking campers used brute strength to roll the car on to its side and free one man who was crushed beneath the vehicle.
She said: "It is a huge miracle no one died. Someone must have been looking down on us all."
She was with her family on the last night of a week's holiday when the car smashed on to the in campsite Newgale, Pembrokeshire, at around 10.30pm on Saturday.
