A STUDENT who died after sniffing laughing gas used the equivalent of 225 canisters a day, an inquest heard yesterday.
Ellen Mercer, 24, was left unable to walk or go to the toilet for two weeks.
Her immobility led to blood clots in her chest caused by deep vein thrombosis. Ellen's inquest was told this was due to "long-term complications of nitrous oxide use".
