Skipper insists Owen 'circus' can inspire Red Roses in Dublin

COURTNEY LAWES' England will use the Owen Farrell 'circus' to spur them on and help topple the world's No.1-ranked team today.

Farrell will be in the stands for the clash with Ireland, still sweating on his World Cup chances with an appeal hearing early next week.

The white noise surrounding the England skipper since his red card against Wales last week shows no sign of slowing up and he has been pulled out of the game at the Aviva Stadium.

World Rugby are appealing against his card but it is thought the governing body are not confident of getting the verdict overturned.

But Farrell had enough distractions from Tuesday's hearing for Steve Borthwick to take him out of the squad and Lawes returns to the captaincy.
