IT was last month when Arne Slot spoke of the 'fixtures coming after the international break'.
Liverpool are rightly delighted with their fine start to the season.
They are top of the Premier League with six wins from seven, flying in Europe with two victories from two, and into the next round of the Carabao Cup.
As honeymoon periods go, Slot has been enjoying the extra luxurious package.
"I know how good they are," the Reds boss said in September about his players. "But we still have to prove things when the fixtures are coming.
"We all know after the international break then we go into tougher fixtures than we have now." Liverpool have beaten Manchester United and AC Milan so far this season which looks good in the record books but maybe not on current standing in the game.
