Laura told she has 'slim chance' of Paris

GOLDEN girl Dame Laura Kenny is facing Olympic heartbreak after British cycling bosses revealed she has only a "slim" chance of reaching Paris this summer.

The five-times gold medallist, Team GB's greatest female Olympian, gave birth to second child Monty last July.

Although Kenny, who will be 32 next month, has been on a bespoke fitness programme, she is running out of time to make the cut for the Games.

And she may have to settle for the UCI track world championships in Denmark in September, as a more realistic goal for an encore on the bike.
