IT may not be quite a roar to say: 'Novak Djokovic, I'm coming to get you'.

However, Carlos Alcaraz served warning that he is busy calculating a route to topple the Serb- if only by demonstrating how much he is across all the numbers.

His 6-4 6-4 win against Alex De Minaur of Australia in the cinch Championships at a hot and windy Queen's was enough to lift him to the top of the world rankings in the week that Wimbledon seedings are determined.

Asked if the victory sent out a challenge to the 23-time Grand Slam champion, Alcaraz replied: "Well, I go into Wimbledon right now with a lot of confidence. That's obvious.

"But I saw a statistic that Novak has won more matches at Wimbledon (86) than the other top 20 players (85). What can I say about that, you know?

"I mean, Novak is the main favourite to win Wimbledon. That's obvious.
