Met cop accused of missing chance to nick Sarah killer

A POLICE officer missed the chance to arrest Wayne Couzens hours before he murdered Sarah Everard, a disciplinary hearing was told.

Samantha Lee is said to have failed to obtain crucial evidence after the Met policeman exposed himself twice.

Couzens targeted female McDonald's staff in Swanley, Kent, on February 14 and 27, 2021, the last three days before he went on to kill.

PC Lee, dubbed "Officer Naughty" on her OnlyFans page, attended the restaurant on March 3, but did not log CCTV of Couzens in the Seat Exeo he would use that night to abduct Sarah before raping and murdering her.

The hearing was told the manager showed her the footage and receipts with the last four digits of Couzens' card on both occasions, as well as witness statements taken from members of staff.
