Violet back on the Street after 16 years away from the cobbles

ROVER'S Return barmaid Violet Wilson is heading back to Weatherfield to help her wayward son Dylan after 16 years away from the Street.

Antony Cotton, who plays teenager Dylan's gay dad Sean Tully, has revealed actress Jenny Platt is set to return.

Violet gave birth to Dylan in 2008 after making a drunken pact with Sean to have a baby if they were single at 30.

Speaking ahead of their first scenes, filmed last month, Antony says: "Tomorrow, after 16 years, Jenny is coming back. We've tried to get her back in various different ways, means, forms for a little bit - because at the end of the day, she's Dylan's mum.
