OVER 48,000 runners brightened up a soggy day as they took part in the London Marathon.
Stars including Chris Evans, Kirsty Gallacher, TOWIE's Mark Wright and Sophie Raworth did their best to dodge the rain showers.
And in his last ever competitive marathon, Sir Mo Farah finished in ninth place yesterday.
The four-time Olympic and sixtime world champion completed the 26.2 mile course in 2hr 10min.
The 40-year-old told the BBC: "I've got great support here over the years and wanted to make my last marathon here. The Great North Run will be my last race to say goodbye to the fans and I'm looking forward to it. I've had an amazing career."
Radio presenter Adele Roberts also became the first woman with an ileostomy to run a marathon.
