THE aunt of murdered Zara Aleena is urging the public to be more vigilant to help keep women safe.
Farah Naz, whose niece was killed by Jordan McSweeney as she walked home, wants people to "speak up and step in".
She has started giving speeches across the UK to encourage passers-by to act if they see women in danger.
She says aspiring lawyer Zara, 35, may have been saved had people acted after seeing McSweeney's behaviour on the night of the murder in 2022. Farah told the Mirror: "This is a call for us to create the world Zara deserved.
