A MAN died and seven others were injured when a knifeman went on a rampage near a nightclub.
Police have launched a murder probe after being called to a serious altercation at 3.15am yesterday. A man in his thirties was later confirmed dead.
At least seven other men and women were injured during the rampage in Bodmin, Cornwall, and taken to hospital for treatment.
Devon and Cornwall Police said last night none of their injuries were being treated as life-threatening.
They said some of the victims had been in the Eclipse nightclub but none were attacked inside.
