AS David Moyes surveyed defeat at Anfield, he expressed surprise that Liverpool "actually counter attacked us more than we did them".
Yet, in his post-game analysis following the Irons' 3-1 defeat, the West Ham boss will surely reflect that this latest incarnation of Jurgen Klopp's team is perfectly equipped to counter.
Anfield chief Klopp (right) has built a new forward line, with Darwin Nunez's emergence after a season of struggles giving the Reds a third prong to a front three that is devastating on the break.
There is, arguably, more pace than his famous front three which won everything, and without question a more direct style, with the muscular running of Nunez and Luis Diaz (below, right), along with Mo Salah's intelligent movement.
Already this season, they have turned contests that looked lost, and it makes Liverpool a dangerous opponent once more, as Klopp acknowledged after Sunday's victory over the Hammers.
