CHARGES against Donald Trump for trying to overturn his 2020 defeat have been dropped.
Special counsel Jack Smith yesterday filed a motion to end the case following the tycoon's election victory on November 5.
Trump was first indicted on four felonies in August 2023.
After he lost to Joe Biden in 2020, his repeated claims of election fraud helped fire up a mob of supporters to storm the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
