WILLIAM GALLAS believes William Saliba can become a world beater with France.

But Gallas has warned the Arsenal defender he may have to be patient and be ready to seize his chance when it comes.

Ex-Gunners and Chelsea defender Gallas believes 22-year-old Saliba has all the qualities to become one of the best central defenders in the world.

But Gallas, capped 84 times by Les Bleus, believes national boss Didier Deschamps wants Saliba to step up and be ready to become a starter ahead of next summer's Euros.

Saliba got a rare start last night as France concluded their Group B campaign against Greece in Athens.

Talking to Genting Casino, Gallas said: "Didier Deschamps said he wanted more from Saliba.
