ERLING HAALAND has cut a frustrated figure after failing to find the net in his last three outings for Manchester City. 

Despite scoring at the rate of a goal a game in the Premier League this season, even the slightest dip in the hotshot’s form becomes a point of discussion.

After setting the bar so high in his debut campaign with 52 goals in all competitions, Haaland’s performances in the last three games for City have not gone according to plan.

No goals against Wolves, RB Leipzig and Arsenal is a ‘barren run’ which other forwards might think is par for the course.

Haaland’s body language has reflected a player not happy at how things are going, and there was a visible sense of annoyance after Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at the Emirates.

That may even have been a part of why he became embroiled in the spat between Kyle Walker and the Gunners’ former City set-piece coach Nicolas Jover at the final whistle.
