A STRESSED pensioner was "hounded" for money after energy companies claimed her usage went up more than 600 per cent.
Cathy Cameron, 71, has been left in tears and unable to sleep as Ovo and SSE bombarded her with letters demanding cash for seven months.
Cathy, from Baillieston, Glasgow, was told she had gone to using 18,328 kWh compared with last year's 2489.
One bill demanded £623.08 for just one month - compared to previous bills of about £144.
The OAP says she was terrified to put the heating on or do her washing.
