CHRIS Eubank jnr's trainer has been charged with possession of a firearm after airport security found a gun in a suitcase as he prepared to fly back to the US.
Brian "Bomac" McIntyre was arrested by armed police amid dramatic scenes on Sunday when a scan allegedly revealed the weapon and ammunition.
Officers descended on the departure lounge at Manchester Airport and detained the 53-year-old American.
Former boxer McIntyre had overseen Eubank jnr's victory over Liam Smith in their middleweight rematch in the city on Saturday night.
