JULIAN Assange's five years in a British jail have come to an end and he is today expected to walk free after making a deal with the US.
The WikiLeaks founder flew on a £400,000 private flight to an American island in the Pacific where will today plead guilty to a spying charge.
He is expected to face no time in a US jail as he will be given credit for the years spent in London's Belmarsh.
