HE WAS the winner of the 2005 series of X Factor but singer Shayne Ward was last night eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.
It means Shayne, 40, and his professional partner Nancy Xu, 33, will miss out on the Blackpool special next week.
They were sent home by head judge Shirley Ballas following a dance-off against opera singer Wynne Evans, 52, and his pro partner Katya Jones, 35.
Shayne performed his rumba to Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper, while Go Compare star Wynne danced the American Smooth to Grace Kelly by Mika.
