Scots shoppers set to blow £580k a minute in high street splurge

SCOTS are set to spend splash out £216million on the high street alone in today's Boxing Day sales.

Two million bargain hunters will blow a staggering £580,000 a minute - with queues expected from early morning for price cuts of up to 70 per cent.

Another £97million will be splurged once websites receive 20million clicks in a bumper £313million splurge.
