Jordan Gardiner went through a red light while on his pedal bike and careered into a woman's car in Edinburgh.
The 25-year-old was injured in the crash, which also left the vehicle damaged.
Last year, Gardiner appealed for help in tracing the good Samaritans who came to his aid after another cycling accident in the city.
He claimed he was hit by a Range Rover outside the Apple store on Princes Street and thrown over the handlebars.
