
EMOTIONS were running high for BBC stars Gethin Jones, Helen Skelton and Jamie Laing as they raised £2.7million for Comic Relief.
Morning Live's Gethin, 47, overcame injury from a serious fall to complete his 24-hour challenge roller-skating alongside his co-host Helen, 41.
Taking a tumble around an hour before the end of the challenge, he feared he wouldn't be able to finish.
Gethin said: "I went and got a drink and lost my concentration and it really hurt. I've had a bulging disc for a while and anyone who's had that will know you can't move.
