A SPEEDING delivery driver with an expired licence who mowed down and killed a "bright and caring" teen was jailed for five years yesterday.
Florjan Dajti, who was delivering food to a shop, was "hammering" down Glasgow's Great Western Road before ploughing into Sophie Geddes, 16, who was crossing, on December 5, 2020.
The 33-year-old dad of one, of the city's Scotstoun, had only lived in Scotland since October 2019.
He held a full driving licence from his native Albania, but it was only valid for 12 months here, and had expired weeks before the crash.
