Finn relishing life again as Tony lets him loose in Dee midfield

WHEN Finlay Robertson made his Dundee debut in 2019 aged just 16, it seemed certain that he would go on to be a regular for the Dark Blues for seasons to come.

However, last December, former Dens boss Gary Bowyer admitted the 20-year-old's career had stalled and he needed "rebuilding" after a tough couple of seasons due to injury and being sent out on loan.

Now, though, Robertson is loving life at Dundee once more under new manager Tony Docherty and has featured in six of his side's eight Premiership games so far.

The midfielder produced a man-of-the-match performance after being given a start on Tuesday against Ross County - and the young Dundonian is determined there will be more of the same when the Dark Blues play at Livingston today.

Robertson said: "It's good to be back in the team and hopefully I can try and keep my place.
