But he knows a winner in the north east tomorrow could be every bit as important as that strike on the penultimate weekend of the 2020-21 season.
Rooted to the bottom of the table with no points and no manager after Lee Johnson's sacking, Hibs are in dire need of a result.
They've lost three and drawn one of their four trips to Aberdeen since Doidge's winner on May 13 two years ago.
