KYE ROWLES left his first visit to Hampden with a sense of what might have been on Sunday afternoon.
Now he just wants his Hearts mates to get back there as soon as they possibly can.
The next chance they’ll get of course is in this season’s Scottish Cup and when the disappointment of the weekend’s Viaplay semi-defeat wears off, Rowles feels the Jambos have shown they have the ability to go deep in that competition.
They competed well with Rangers in the first half at the weekend only for the wheels to come off when they conceded an early secondperiod penalty and in the end a 3-1 victory did not flatter the Ibrox side.
But the Australian international center-back is adamant that Steven Naismith’s side have shown they can mix it with the big guns.
Rowles said: “Being confident in our ability is something that Naisy is constantly drilling into us.
“We need to believe in ourselves and have the confidence to play because we’re a good side.
“We need to believe in ourselves a bit more and we’ll be drilling that in this week.
