WHEN Marisa Abela first heard there was to be a biopic about the brilliant but troubled Amy Winehouse, her first instinct was "no, that's too much, too huge".
But as she researched her role as the singer ahead of making Back to Black, she began to feel a connection.
By her tragic end, Amy was as known for her drink and drug problems and her messy love life as for her soulful voice and smart lyrics.
