FORMER Rangers star Kyle Hutton has been charged after a female pedestrian was killed in a road crash.
The 33-year-old footballer was held in connection with the death of Victoria Cairns in Rutherglen, near Glasgow, on Saturday night.
Victoria, 40, was allegedly struck by a vehicle as she was walking in the town.
She was rushed by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she fought for life for four days.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal relating to Hutton and further enquiries are currently being carried out.
