WARNING OVER OPERATIONS IN TURKEY
- UK medic's safety fears for patients
IN a 30-minute consultation, Magic Touch “patient co-ordinator” Sevil admitted having no medical credentials, yet felt able to declare there was no risk involved in the controversial Brazilian Butt Lift op.
Asked if the surgery, which involves injecting fat into the buttocks, ever went wrong, she told our reporter: “No, no. With the BBL? No, never happen.”
At least three Brits have died after having the surgery in Turkey, and when pressed on the dangers, Sevil admitted it was riskier than buttock implants.
She said: “You put an implant and you get the really good result and no risk. No need to be worried.”
Advising our reporter to choose implants over the BBL, Sevil said the operation could be done as soon as December 22 and quoted £7000 for the procedure and accommodation. She urged our reporter to book early to avoid price rises of up to 10 per cent in 2024.
She said: “If you come by the end of this year – I need to ask for January, I’m not sure – we cover £150 of your flight.”
The deal was promoted at an event at a hotel in Hull, where Magic Touch Turkey offered free consultations to people interested in cosmetic surgery.
Sevil said buttock enlarging was “very popular” in Turkey as it was “expensive” in the UK, and insisted implants “never” went wrong.
She said she would be available to be contacted during the recovery period in Antalya and later in the UK.
