DAVID GRAY insists the Gordon family call the shots at Hibs and has praised their impact at Easter Road.
The head coach's comments come after new minority shareholder Bill Foley claimed earlier this week that the club's hierarchy were not listening to him and his Black Knight consortium, despite pumping in £6million to the club.
It is thought that Hibs went against the American billionaire's advice to appoint club legend Gray and Malky Mackay as sporting director.
The Gordon family, including Kit - widow to late owner Ron - and son Ian, are still the majority owners at Hibs and that set-up suits Gray.
He said: "That's why they're the owners. They've always got the final say and rightly so.
"I wouldn't like to comment but I know where I stand within the hierarchy pyramid and my job is to firmly focus on what's going on the pitch.
"And that's my job every day to get the best out of every player and staff member in this building, so that's my full focus.
"I've been at this club for 10 years now. When I joined, it had just been relegated to the Championship.
