McMaster: Bonding keeps us sharp

HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF

DEAN MCMASTER has revealed how Airdrie are bonding in order to put the frighteners on foes - with a dressing-room game in which they pretend to be wolves.

Seemingly, few training sessions are complete without the Diamonds' own version of Werewolf, a social deduction game where players have to guess the killers among them.

Rhys McCabe's side are doing a fair job in the cut-throat environment of the Championship, with McMaster's displays even giving his gaffer no option but to leave himself out.

And the 20-year-old, who joined from St Mirren having been part of the promotion-winning team while on loan, admits bonding has turned them into animals eyeing wins.

McMaster laughed and said: "This will sound mad but we play this game we call Wolf after most training sessions, it's brilliant.

"The gaffer and others don't let anybody go from training when we're playing it, everybody loves it!
