But he's now hoping to thrash out a new deal with talks planned with boss Stephen Robinson.
Fans favourite Main admitted he'd be gutted if his time was up in Paisley and he said: "If that's what happens then it will be disappointing.
"It's a great group of lads, the staff as well. Everything around the place is really enjoyable. I've enjoyed my time here.
"Hopefully we can try to work something out.
