NICK MONTGOMERY reckons leading a normal life could provide Hibs with an extraordinary week against the Old Firm.
The Easter Road outfit head to Glasgow tomorrow seeking to ruin Philippe Clement's Ibrox unveiling.
While it will be a special day for the former Genk, Brugge and Monaco coach as he takes charge of Rangers for the first time, Leith boss Montgomery insists his team have been doing nothing out of the ordinary in preparation.
And he insists Hibs will be sticking to their normal routines too when they welcome Celtic to Edinburgh next weekend as they go for another remarkable result.
Monty said: "The boys know if we play the way we can, if we compete, we can beat anybody and that's proven all over the world, it's not something new.
"But the key is keeping the preparation process as normal as possible.
"The facts are there. We know that, in terms of budget, there is such a big gap between the Old Firm and everybody else. But that's not any reason to treat these two games any differently. We treat Saturday exactly the same as any other opponent.
