VINCENT KOMPANY has told Pep Guardiola to stop talking about him taking his place at Manchester City insisting he only has eyes for Burnley.
The pair, who combined for three trophy-laden years at the Etihad between 2016-19, lock horns across the dugouts when Burnley take on City in the FA Cup this evening.
And with a semi-final place at stake, Kompany understandably was keen to play down any links with the opposition in the future.
Kompany said: "He has to stop saying it. I am a Championship manager.
"I said the first day of the season I came to Burnley because I chose for the people.
