A PRISON officer has been arrested and charged over allegations he tried to arrange a sexual encounter with a 13-year-old girl.
He was confronted by a so-called “child protection group” after he turned up for the alleged tryst.
The 45-year-old, who works at Edinburgh Prison, was filmed as vigilantes challenged him over his online behaviour before police arrived and he was taken away in a van.
